Warrensville House Sitting Day 16 of 21

Morning sun from the holler.......
With another cold start to the morning 36° F.

Afternoon view during my walk to get the mail.....
Why do cats warm up the wrong side of the bed? After Loki comes in from a day exploring and playing in the mountains, I feed him and he sleeps here until I join him. Sometimes in the middle of the night, I find him on the window ledge.
Cool afternoon temps in the 60s; it is now 61°F
Sunset view
And there is Milton......

Warrensville House Sitting Day 14 of 21

Cold Start 37°F

Warm afternoon of 70°. I even took off my shirt when I took my afternoon mail walk. It's a 1/2 mile to the mailbox. I had a bout 4 hours of chores to complete today. Here is the view from this afternoon.

Cool finish of 65°F...... Tonight's low is expected in the low 40s.

And Milton......This image that I just pulled from the Weather.gov website shows Milton making landfall just below Tampa in Bradenton/Sarasota?

And look at my dinner.....
Fresh tomatoes, pepper roasted with garlic and olive oil, sauteed with fresh shitake mushrooms, cream and parmesan pecorino cheese serve with whole grain pasta and basil chiffonade and butter whole grain toasted bread knots.

A Beautiful Day in the Holler, But Milton

Enjoy the photos of the Holler.......

Lots of Shitakes today. Would one even say a Shitake Load?
Two full baskets of Shitakes, About 3 dozen Jack beans and a smatherin' of tomatoes, peppers with Basil for flava'.
Now for the scenery? Yes, This is part of the reason I am here. Temps in the high 60s today felt warm. the low tonight is expected to be 38.
Walking to get the mail.

Walking back from getting the mail.

While I am kind of preoccupied with Tampa.....
