Manchester, NH

I arrived safely to our friends home in Manchester, NH. 

I chose to take the scenic route buy selecting "Avoid Tolls" on google.maps! Below is the route in dark blue. Notice the mileage of each route is within 4-15 miles with a time variance of nearly 1.5 hours. From past experience though, I have always encountered traffic jams on the interstates in the North Eastern States near New York City.

As I leisurely drove through some of the most beautiful scenic back roads for about the same distance with less traffic without tolls, I enjoyed the cool breeze in the mountains, saw lush green forests, streams, rivers, creeks & lakes and a mama bear chasing her 2 cubs across the road into a corn field. 

Our friend treated me to a few drinks and a delicious dinner.
